Q – HOW LONG DOES THE REFINISHING PROCESS TAKE?
A – The process to refinish an item usually takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete. However, if we are refinishing more than one item on the same day the process takes about 6+ hours.
Q – WHY DO I HAVE TO SIGN AND RETURN THE RESIDENT NOTIFICATION?
A – The Resident Notification Form informs the Resident and Manager what needs to be done by them and what to expect on the scheduled appointment day. Returning it lets us know that the resident understands the process and after-care instructions.

Q – HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE PAINT TO DRY BEFORE WE CAN USE THE ITEM WE ARE HAVING REFINISHED?
A – Dry times depend on what type of paint is being used. “Regular paint” dries in 24 hours and our “Odorless Paint” dries in 4 hours. Newly refinished items are not be used until the next day.
Q – HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO STAY OUT OF THE HOUSE WHILE THE TECHNICIAN IS WORKING?
A – You are allowed to be there to let our technician in and while he prepares the item for refinishing. Our technician will let you know when they are ready to begin the refinishing spray process and at that time everyone, including the pets, must vacate. Depending on the type of paint that is used you may not return for another 4 – 6 hours. Please give our office a call, to find out about our different paints and their different dry times.
Q – WHY DO I HAVE TO REMOVE ITEMS OFF THE COUNTER-TOPS AND OUT OF THE BATHTUB?
A – We asked that personal items be personally removed by you. Our technicians are not allowed to touch any personal items.
